FASHION FRENZY: Nomsa, this weeks icon

Nomsa is a 21 year old digital media undergraduate who is quite expressive with her choice of clothing. When roaming campus it's would be nearly impossible to miss her. Her fashion is provocative in a sense that it evokes thought and a certain aesthetic we can only liken to a mix of rock and goth.

We had the honor to photograph her and this is how it went....

After a short scroll through her Instagram it is apparent that her style is consistent but also dynamic.

When we asked Nomsa if she makes clothes, she told us that she "cuts clothes" which we found deeply symbolic of the breaking of boundaries especially within the fashion scene in the university and in the city as a whole.

Her outfits have personality.

We loved the mesh and lace which seem to be a stable in Nomsa's outfits as it adds texture and thus a certain depth to the outfit making it intriguing and draws whoever is looking in.
