the diathesis is an online blog focused on young artists based in Botswana's highest learning institution. Tarryn Fisher wrote, ''Art is the blood that comes from a wound. You can't let it scab; let it keep bleeding. let it bleed until you have enough blood to paint with.''. We feature artists 'under-campus' with a bleeding diathesis for art.

Abigail Oratile Seithamo (rati)
Rati is a 18-year-old writer who mostly uses poetry as a medium to share her thoughts and ideas with the world. She is also an avid music lover and fashion enthusiast. Her writing style aims to probe and prod at the reader’s latent emotions to help them develop a deeper understanding for the pieces that have been shared. She is a student at The University of Botswana Media Studies Department pursuing an undergraduate degree in Public Relations

Atang Bame Seemule
Atang Bame Seemule is, in short, a feeling human being who expresses said feeling through all mediums of art at her disposal, be it poetry, drawing or simply enjoying a goon album; her main source of entertainment. She's a student of the University of Botswana Media Studies department pursuing an undergraduate degree in Digital media.
